Cannoli Cream

 

Ingredients:

1 cup well drained ricotta cheese

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1 cup powdered sugar or super fine sugar

1 tsp orange zest

¼ tsp fresh grated nutmeg

Splash amaretto (optional)

Chocolate chips Small

 

Procedure:

 

Mix first six ingredients with electric mixer on medium then medium high speed for 2 to 3 minutes.  Fold in chocolate chips and refrigerate to 2 hours

 

Pipe into favorite cannoli shells (fills about 8 cannoli).
