Ingredients
¼ C olive oil
4 Tbls Butter
2 med onions finely chopped
4 stalks celery finely chopped
2 carrots finely chopped
5 cloves garlic sliced
1-pound ground Italian sausage
1-pound ground beef
¼ pound finely chopped prosciutto
¼ pound finely chopped pancetta
½ C heavy cream
1 28oz can whole San Marzano tomatoes hand crushed
1 cup dry white wine
2-cup beef broth
Procedure:
SautŽ vegetables over med heat until translucent. Add meat and brown over high heat.
Add cream and simmer until no liquid is left about 10 min.
Add tomatoes, broth, and wine; simmer over low heat for 2
hours
Salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
